The Suwannee River Greenway in Branford is getting repaved and it appears a bike/pedestrian bridge over the Ichetucknee is part of the project. That will offer a direct connection to the Ichetucknee to O’Leno Trail. The section from Branford to County Road 248 (the connector to Little River Spring) is complete, while the section running east toward U.S. 129 is under construction and appears to be nearing completion. Lime rock is already in place to continue the upgrade eastward.
