New Horse Farm Hundred Route
We're doing a new route for the Horse Farm Hundred and Horse Farm Tours for 2022.
In place of one big loop out of Flemington, we're now doing two loops with Flemington as the hub. (This was necessary as our long-time lunch stop is being used by another event.)
Perhaps the bigger news is CR234 east of Micanopy (aka Angle Road) is no longer on the route. Many riders had told us they were no longer doing our event to avoid that road. That also takes us off of the flood-prone Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail. Instead we'll use the brand new wide and smooth bike lanes on US441; this route is surprisingly scenic, especially as it swoops down onto Paynes Prairie.
