Why Not Now?
Three days earlier David A Rogers left his home in Palm Harbor (near Clearwater, FL) heading to to St. Louis, MO on his four panniered bicycle. With no profitable work in sight and a long time desire, all the excuses had faded away. “Why Not, he says to me?”
A neighbor had contacted me about hosting David for a night which meant to provide a spot for his tent, fresh water to drink and a warm shower. She was out of town and unable to keep her promise of hosting him.
This connection through warmshowers.org was new to me. Oh, what a pleasant experience for our family to chat with this young man about his dreams of taking this trip and experiences so far. He rolled away this morning into whatever day 4 would bring. You can follow him on Instagram at “meplusbike”.
