Artwalk II
Lets meet at the Thomas Center, 302 NE 6th Ave at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26 for a ride to visit Artwalk galleries, and enjoy music in the downtown. Ther are about 20 Artwalk venues (about half are close together downtown) and music on the Downtown Plaza.
Why an Artwalk ride? Parking is difficult downtown, plus several of the Artwalk venues are far apart. We can scoot around to art, coffee, and music faster than walking.
We will meet at the Thomas Center (lots of parking) at 7:30-8 p.m. From there we will ride to the Downtown Plaza (music startts at 8 p.m.). I will try to have a vehicle parked on SE 1st Ave. with water and soft drinks. From there, we can ride for coffee or outlying art venues, as per group request.
Bring a bike you can ride slowly and safely. All riders MUST wear helmets and have headlights and taillights. A reflective vest is recomended.
Last Artwalk, we had five riders. The Thomas Center had the best snacks (popcorn chicken , sandwich wraps, and soft drinks). Most of the galleries had snacks and some had wine!!
