Volunteers Needed for the Ride To Remember

by Roger Pierce

We need a few volunteers to help put on the Ride To Remember.

Before the event, a volunteer is needed to help paint marks on the course. It would be best to get this completed at least a week before the event (by Sunday, April 22).

On the day of the event, we need four persons/crews to put out route signs in the morning and then pick them up after the ride. This is something you can do while sandwiching a ride in between!

During the event, persons are needed to man the rest stop at Flemington. The first shift needs to set up at 6:30, and we'll be done by 3 or so.

To volunteer for any of these jobs, call Roger at 378-7063 or email.

You can also RSVP for the packet stuffing party to be held on Thursday, Apr 26, in the Members Area, News page, Info column.

The Ride To Remember is a charity event benefitting ElderCare of Alachua County, supporting Al'z Place providing Alzheimer's Day Care.
