Basics of Cycling in the Street: A Riding Workshop

by Stephen Perz

Are you ready to ride smarter, confidently, and legally?

The Gainesville Cycling Club (gccfla.org) announces a “Basics of Cycling in the Street: A Riding Workshop” to let you learn by doing to improve your cycling skills.

The workshop is free and open to all adults who are interested in cycling more.

We will meet at the Freewheel Project, 618 South Main St. in downtown Gainesville, on Sunday 1 October 2017 at 1 PM.

We will begin with a short discussion of riding in the street and group riding, followed by a group ride through neighborhoods in east Gainesville. We will return to Freewheel for a debrief and then wrap-up by 3 PM.

Bring your favorite bicycle for a street ride! This is a GCC event, so all participants must wear helmets.
