Important Ride Posting Info
Gainesville Cycling Club rides are posted from the Rides page in the Members Area. Rides that are not posted on our ride schedule are not GCC rides, and are NOT covered under our insurance. Announcing rides using GCCMail or Group Mail is a violation of the terms of use of those services.

Posting Rides
Persons who are Group Captains, or who have been designated a Ride Leader by their Group Captain, can post rides for their group. Click on the "Post A Ride" button that is displayed under your Group Membership. If you need to lead a ride for your group, but do not have a "Post A Ride" button, contact your Group Captain to be designated a Ride Leader.
If you want to try out a ride idea before forming a Group, you can post an Ad Hoc ride. If you regularly lead rides and have riders show up to ride with you, you should start a Group, and post rides for that Group.

If you are unable to get designated a Ride Leader in time for your ride, post it as an Ad Hoc ride. Remember that once posted, you cannot make modifications to an Ad Hoc ride, nor do cancellations.
