You're invited to join GCC we partner with Active Streets Alliance and Gainesville Citizens for Active Transportation to host the 3rd Active Streets Gainesville event downtown from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18th.
Active Streets Gainesville is a FREE community event that transforms our most iconic roadway into a vibrant destination full of activities led by local organizations and businesses.
GCC will host a free bike valet service, so there's no reason not to ride to Active Streets. Anyone arriving by bicycle can leave their bike at the valet station while they stroll the avenue and enjoy all of the free family-friendly fun activities, live music, and food.
Bring your family. Bring a friend. Bring cash for food along the route or at nearby restaurants and pubs. But, leave the car at home.
