Pink Pumpkins Roll
A record turnout, with 355 registered riders, and a great day, made for a great 2014 Pink Pumpkin Pedal-Off on Saturday (Oct 4).
With a superbly marked route, lots of good snacks at the rest stops, and yummy food from Chuy's at the finish, the ride had everything that could be asked for. Preregistered riders got goody bags that lived up to the name (even the bags were something special - they can be wadded down into one corner and secured with a built-in cord to make them compact enough to carry around and use instead of a disposable bag for occasional purchases).
Look for the 4th Annual Pink Pumpkin Pedal-Off next October!
