Citizen Oversight Committee
Dear fellow members of GCC,
Alachua County and the City of Gainesville are seeking applications from citizens for appointments to the Citizen Oversight Committee for the proposed transportation surtax. The county’s deadline is September 10th and the city’s deadline is September 9th. The commitment to meetings per year is minimal. From the county’s share of the proposed tax, 5% will go toward bike/ped projects. The city also is has a proposed projects list for bike/ped.
