THIS YEAR ON THE A RIDE

The only big-name pro to ride with us this past year was our own John Lieswyn of the Coors Light racing team. And a few other luminous names joined us on rides. We of course had our regular visit from Bicycling Executive Editor Ed Pavelka, in town to visit family at Christmas and escape the ice in Pennsylvania for a couple of weeks. Gainesville residents Bobby Livingston, a former national champion and Olympic team member, and Karen Bliss- Livingston, who has won most if not all of the national women's criterium championships for the past two years, have been regular visitors on our rides. The 1994 winter season also saw Marco and Scully from Columbus Ohio, the Kissena team from the northeast, and our regular visit from the Univerity of Indiana Delta Chi fraternity Little 500 racing team.
