Join The Club!

Membership Application

The GCC currently has over five hundred active members. Membership provides all of the great benefits detailed in the Benefits section.

Click here to create your membership application form which you can print (select File, Print from your browser's menu) and send in via snail mail along with your check. (Ecommerce is still way too costly for a small operation like us to accept payments online. Maybe one of these days...)

Memberships

To become a member of the club an individual must fill out a membership application and get it to the membership secretary along with the appropriate dues. The dues are currently $15 for the first year and $12 for additional years (when signed up for at the same time) for individuals, $20 for the first year and $15 for additional years for families, and $10 per year for full time students (one year at a time limit). The dues may change from year to year.

Each person wishing to join the club must send in an application. Families joining should send in one application with Family dues, and additional applications for other family members with no money (select "Add me as a family member of..." option).

Each member will receive a non-transferable Horse Farm Hundred entry certificate worth $5 off on the entry fee. Members receive a membership card that is good for discounts at most Gainesville bike shops (see ads in the newsletter). Until you receive your membership card, the last page of your newsletter identifies you as a club member.

Should you inadvertantly send in less money than is required for your membership, we will sign you up for the period that can be covered by what you send. For example, $12 will get you an 8 month individual membership. Given the low cost of our memberships, we strongly suggest that you take advantage of the option to sign up for multiple years. This means you don't have to worry about renewing for awhile, and you save by getting the multiple year price on the additional years (but NOT the first year, whether a new or renewing membership).
