How To …

Find Your Membership Number

Your membership number is on your membership card. We also print it on the mailing label on your newsletter. It is emailed to all new members.

Find A Ride

  • GCC rides are announced on our Ride Schedule in the Members Area.
  • We email a snapshot of the Ride Schedule to GCCMail at 3 pm each afternoon.
  • The next ride for each group is listed on the group's web page (on the main site).
  • Group members can elect to receive an email announcement whenever a ride is posted or updated for their group.

If you don’t find a suitable ride, you can schedule an Ad Hoc ride. Once you get a good group going, you can form a ride group.

Find A Member

The membership roster is available on the club website in the Members Area on the Me page, which is protected by a password to ensure that your address, phone number, and email address are not available to non-members. Your password is selected when you join the club; if you forget it, you must reset it from the Members Area sign in page.

Renew Your Membership

You can renew at any time by clicking the button in the upper right corner of the Members Area. A few months out from your expiration, we'll send a reminder email that you are still "in the bonus," where we'll knock a dollar off of your renewal when we don't have to send you a renewal form. About seven weeks before your membership expires, you should receive a letter from the GCC containing a renewal form. All memberships expire on the 23rd day of an odd numbered month. To get a newsletter you must have renewed before we send it out (for example, if you expire on January 23, to get the February newsletter we need to have your renewal by sometime around January 23). If we have a good email address for you, we will send warnings when you get down to three and one weeks to go, and when you expire.

If you misplace your renewal form, you'll need to use the online form in the Members Area (we'd like you to do that anyway).

You can save a dollar by renewing while in the bonus, which is before we mail out your membership renewal form. The forms are sent out around the first of even numbered months. To save, send in your renewal so that we have it by the first of that month before your expiration date. For example, if you expire on July 23, we need your renewal by June 1 for you to claim the bonus.

Please consider renewing for more than one year. This saves us the time and money needed to process a membership, and saves you money since we give you a break on those additional years. This price break only applies to the second and subsequent years that you renew; if you take the break on a one year renewal, you are only renewing for 6 months.

Access the Online Ride Schedule

You can get to the online Ride Schedule with as few as three clicks of the mouse from your computer. Here’s how.

From the main club web site, select Members Area from the menu.

Bookmark the sign in page. Most systems have ways that you can set up a bookmark for one click access. (You could make it one of your home pages.)

If you do not know your password, click “SET A NEW PASSWORD” (enormous blue letters). You’ll need your member number and birth date to reset your password. Your member number is on your membership card that you use to get discounts at the bike store. If you’ve lost your membership card, email me to get your number.

It’s important that you do the following only on YOUR computer:

  • Set your Security (box on the bottom of the page). You’ll probably want to select “Home computer, no timeout.”
  • Click the box next to “Enable single click sign in for me on this computer.”
  • Enter your Member Number and Password, and click SIGN IN.

(If you have a Family membership, two different persons can set up a single click sign in from one computer. If you have more than two persons in your family who use the same computer, you can set one person for single click, and have the others enter a member number and password for each access.)

Once you’ve signed in, one click of the Ride button brings up the Ride Schedule. But please take a quick look at the News page for announcements of upcoming club events and the latest club news.

For future sign ins, click your bookmark, click SIGN IN, and click RIDE.
