Beer!

Enjoy a Michelob Ultra after your Santa Fe Century ride courtesy of Burkhardt Distributors.

To claim yours, you will need to have your blue Santa Fe wrist band on your wrist. The server will cut if off (you can keep it as a souvenier if you wish).

Wrist bands that are not on YOUR wrist or have already been cut will not be good for claiming a beer!

Preregistration Deadline Looms

The price per ride goes up $10 at midnight on Saturday for the Santa Fe Century and Horse Farm Hundred rides.

Mail in registrations must be postmarked on Saturday, and with today's slower mail service may not make it in time if mailed later than Saturday.

Late registrations can be hand delivered through Wednesday at 8 pm if you are paying with a check. No paper is required for PayPal late registrations, which can be done up until midnight Wednesday.

You can print a form and save $15 over the hand form rate if you plan to register at the event.

If you have preregistered and paid for one ride, you'll be able to register at the event for the other ride at the lower week of ride rate using the pick sheet in your registration packet.

Everything you ever wanted to know about RAGBRAI

Since you (probably) live in Gainesville, you might be interested in attending the Share The Road Awards Banquet - sponsored by Bike Florida and the Florida Bicycle Association - on Saturday evening, Oct. 25, 6-9 p.m at Gainesville's Paramount Plaza Hotel. Our keynote speaker will be T.J. Juskiewizc, Director of RAGBRAI (The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa). RAGBRAI is the oldest and most popular cross-state ride in America, annually attracting in excess of 10,000 riders.

In addition we will be presenting the 2014 Share The Road Awards to honor champions of safe cycling in Florida. We will also be holding a silent auction and raffle to raise funding for restoration of the Sculptures for Fallen Cyclists, on Gainesville's Depot Avenue.

Click here to register. Don't forget to use coupon GCC5 to get a $5 discount.
