This is a relaxed, late afternoon/early evening  ride that will start and end north of Downtown Gainesville at Cypress & Grove Brewery, located on the north side of NW 10th AVE (at 1001 NW 4th ST), across the Downtown Connector Rail-Trail from Trailside Bikes.  We will head south (and then east) on the Downtown Connector, and continue east from Boulware Springs along the Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail before reversing the route at Grove Park (SE 152 ST)  and returning to the Cypress & Grove Brewery.  Riders can wind down over good local beer or seltzer at Cypress & Grove after the ride. Please use front and rear lights on this late afternoon/early evening ride that will entail several road crossings and waning light (towards the end).

Expect cruising speeds 16-18 mph, average speed max. 16.5 mph on this no-drop ride.  Meet at 5:10 PM, roll at 5:20 PM.

GCC members who cannot make the 5:20 PM rollout from Cypress & Grove, feel free to join us soon after 5:25 PM at intersection of Downtown Connector/SE 10th AVE and SE Vietch ST (just north of First Magnitude Brewing Company).  Guest riders (non-GCC members) please meet the ride leader at 5:10 PM at Cypress & Grove. Helmuts required for all GCC rides.

Parking at Ride Start. Unrestricted on-street along NW 10th AVE and along NW 4th ST (north of 10th AVE).  In addition, there are usually many vacant parking spaces in business parking lots on the south side of NW 10th AVE.
