Meet at 7:30 a.m. Sunday for an 7:40 departure from the southeast corner of the Publix parking lot at 34th St. & Williston Road. We will bike to Micanopy via Williston and Flemington, then return via Wacahoota Road. This is a moderately paced, no drop ride with only one somewhat challenging hill (on County Road 318). Expect cruising speeds of 17-19 mph, with an average speed of 17.5 mph. Rest stops in Williston and at the Pearl Country Store in Micanopy plus a few 1 minute "Be sure to drink your Gatorade" stops every 10 miles or so. As this will be a somewhat longer than usual Sunday ride, those who want to do a shorter ride can turn left onto County Road 320 from Williston Road and then 6 miles later turn left onto County Road 329, following it to Micanopy, thereby saving 12 miles and one rest stop.
