Head WEST out of Gainesville on SR 26, through Newberry to Trenton. Go through the light in Trenton to the Elementary School on the right side (north) of the road. Park in front of the main school entrance.
This is a Sunday morning training ride for Young Riders between 10 and 15. The objective will be to teach them group riding etiquette.
We plan to meet at the Trenton Elementary School Car Park at 8:30 and ride out to the Bridge over the Suwannee and back for about 18 miles.
Ultimately, we would like to have an MS150 Junior team for the Cycle to the Shore ride next year (end Sept/early Oct 2013).
This is a ride for people between 10 and 15 years of age, and able to ride steadily at about 14/15 mph minimum and have a road bike (no mountain bikes or leisure bikes). They should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please make sure that they have water and snacks.
