Riders will assemble at 8:20 AM for a brief meeting, then depart by 8:30 AM.  The goals of this ride are to maintain an efficient paceline, cruise at speeds from 17 to 19 mph on flat terrain, smoothly rotate the lead rider frequently and maintain group integrity.  Riders must be able to ride safely in a single inline formation using appropriate skills [http://gainesvillecyclingclub.org/ridingtips.html].  Helmets are mandatory.  While mirrors are not required by law they are strongly recommended.  The paceline will follow traffic laws as highlighted on the club website http://gccfla.org/laws.html.  If weather conditions appear unfavorable an email canceling the ride with be sent by gcc mail in advance of the meeting time.  If you need additional information you can contact me at 352-372-6062 (H), 352-226-0184 (C) or larshir@bellsouth.net.
