Velo et Cafe will meet up at 7:00 a.m. on NE Cholokka Blvd., in front of the Episcopal church and the historical society, across the street and a little west of city hall and the fire station. We plan to depart at 7:10 a.m., after a brief rider meeting.

We ride primarily on quiet, flat, smooth two-lane country roads with, and without bike lanes. We cross the River Styx twice, get a glimpse of both sides of Orange Lake, and can stop briefly at the quaint Evinston Post Office.

We will stop at the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings homestead/state park for a quick restroom break on our return from the "out-and-back" to the winery at Island Grove. We can do two groups, depending on who shows up. I volunteer to lead the slower group!

At the above link for the route, (on Ride With GPS,) you can print the cue sheet using "PRINT CUE SHEET FROM BROWSER" in the right margin. If you'd like a .GCX or .TCX f ile for a GPS device, use the EXPORT tab in the right margin. You can also view the route on a smartphone if you install the free app. (And you can even get  "turn-by-turn" directions with the paid app, and someday, As part of the GCC group.)

Reminder! A mirror and a 50 Lumen or > rear light are required for all Velo et Cafe road rides.
